Wil Russell Nichols, professionally known as XINIX, is an alternative artist and creative director blending music, fashion, and visual storytelling into a unified artistic world. Born January 15th, 1999 in Indianapolis, Indiana, XINIX found connection through music early on, beginning with piano before evolving into full-scale music production as a teenager. His work is defined by intensity, atmosphere, and transformation, creating immersive soundscapes that pull listeners into a cinematic, hypnotic experience. His sound combines industrial, punk, hip-hop, and techno influences, forming a raw and genre-blurring sonic world. Drawing from a wide spectrum of alternative and electronic music, XINIX has developed a style that stands entirely his own—gritty, emotional, and confrontational, yet controlled and intentional.

At seventeen, XINIX lost his mother to cancer, a defining turning point that shaped the emotional depth and intensity that now defines his music. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, his teenage years were marked by struggle, including battles with substance abuse and time spent navigating institutional systems. A near-death experience at twenty-five further sharpened his focus, pushing him toward a path of full commitment to his vision and forcing a transformation into something more disciplined, self-aware, and driven.

His debut album, VISIONARY, represents that transformation.
